Online course on BlackBerry 10 app development with HTML5

I wanted to share an online course that I’ve created in English and Spanish with official support from BlackBerry Latin America.

The course is built in the Udemy e-learning platform, and it teaches the basics of BB10 app development using HTML5 and the bbUI.js library. A simple time tracking app is created through out the course, and the entire app development life cycle for BB10 is covered. The course is mainly aimed for beginners.

Blackberry 10 Contract Job

Hi,

Apologies if this isn’t allowed but it’s very hard to find Blackberry developers who may have already used the Blackberry 10 SDK.

I specialise in mobile technology recruitment for the contract and freelance markets for companies based in London.

A client of mine, an award winning mobile digital agency, is looking for a Blackberry developer to join on an initial 6 week contract.

They are ideally looking for a developer who has already had some experience with Blackberry 10, but would also like to speak with developers who have experience on earlier Blackberry versions and strong C/C++ skills.

This agency has secured a number of high profile and exciting projects this year due to the work they’ve done recently (which led to the awards), with the current project being one for a leading broadcaster.

Although the initial contract is 6 weeks, with them being a project based company, there is a strong possibility of further extensions.
